I'm quarantined.
Yesterday morning, I started feeling my throat getting sore. By yesterday afternoon, it was swollen, and I could absolutely tell that I was getting sick. It's progressed to a nice head cold by today. I've had worse, but it's not much fun, either.
Normally a head cold wouldn't be that big a deal. But with a newborn in the house, some drastic measures have been taken. If Allison can't breathe through her nose, feeding is going to be pretty difficult for her, so we'd like to avoid that.
To that end, I'm quarantined to my office. And the guest bathroom. Which, with my computer and some games to play, wouldn't be that bad. Except the two people I love most in the world are out there, and I'm in here. I have the baby monitor, though, and I get to hear Diana be very silly and cute with Allison.
I've got some online shopping to do, as well as pictures to order prints for, but damn Kart Rider has totally sucked me in. It's basically Mario Kart, but online. Good fun.

Bummer. Sorry to hear that.
You should get (or borrow ours) a wireless web cam. Then, you can watch the fun from the other room... or when you get back to work, you can watch from there also. I used mine with Jaxon all the time.

It's just a typo, stup. He meant: "Two of the three people I love most are in the other room. And the third finally updated his blog."
You can see how a small finger slip could lead to wrong impression.
