Are you ready, kids?
(Aye-aye, Captain!)
I can't HEEEAAAAR YOOUUUUU!
(AYE-AYE CAPTAIN!)

Nothing like a little stress to make being not-stressed a lot more fun. My work-boy and I wrote an internet game used by the marketing department when they go on tour and meet with existing and perspective clients. They were in Boston, and are now in NYC running the game. Apparently, while in Boston, they were having problems, and hoped that we could have those problems fixed up. It was a problem that was beyond me (re: hardware and configuration that I don't have access to), but I couldn't round anyone up to fix it. I left messages for relevant people, and eventually someone got back to me. The problem was fixed at around 12:30am, and the game ran smoothely this morning (in front of a lot of clients as well as the heads of our company!). This is good. *phew*

I thought I was getting sick last night. I wasn't feeling that hot, and my throat was starting to get sore. I feel pretty good today, though, so hopefully the sickness has been averted.

A couple weeks ago was my 10 year high school reunion. This process dredged up a lot of memories, and made me wonder about a lot of people that I haven't heard anything about since high school. Anyways, I was able to track down an email address to an old classmate of mine who I went to school with from early elementary school (kindergarten?) all the way though high school. She wrote me back a nice long email, and it was surprisingly good to hear from her. It's really neat for me, in some vague conceptual way, to know that all those people that had some part in shaping my life are all still out there, doing whatever they're doing.

The snowball of a Vegas trip is starting it's way down the mountain. Look out!
