Foos.

We play foosball here at work sometimes. I've gotten pretty good at foosball. I just finished playing a doubles game where I was across from a guy who basically taught me how to play. And I was absolutely schooling him. It felt great. His final comment as I was firing shots on him was "It's like Luke beating Darth Vadar!" (Maybe not the correct Star Wars reference (for sure he meant Darth Vadar beating Obi-Wan ("The circle is now complete... when we first met, I was but the learner. Now I am the master! ("Only a master of eve-ial, Darth!")))).

One thing I really enjoy in life is being good at stuff. But maybe more than that, I like the feeling of tangibly, measureably getting better at stuff. I like stuff that WAS hard to do, but now is easier and easier through hours of practice. Juggling 5 balls used to be impossible to me, and now, while not easily, is very doable for 20 or 30 catches. I've been blessed with at least a fair share of coordination and ability, and have always picked up on stuff generally pretty easily (all modesty completely thrown out the window here). But, man, beating the guy who taught you the game... that's good stuff.

Just wanted to share.
