Well, the busy weekend is over. Here's a quick rundown.

Thursday night - dinner at D's parents, birthday pressies for Alicia.

Friday night - my parents and me and D at D's parents for dinner. Fun. Baditude's birthday afterwards.

Saturday - Balboa Park with my parents for lunch and a museum exhibit on early photography. Gulls game afterwards.

Sunday - Up to Palomar with D and D's parents. Iwan and Eryn came over afterwards for some Survivor and we played Munchkin after that, which was fun. I want to play more. Iwan brought Little Missy, who was cute. Unfortunately, an evening of exposure killed Diana's allergies, and she had a really hard time sleeping. We're going to need to take this into consideration if we're thinking of getting a dog.

I was listening to Dr. Laura as I drove around during lunch. I'm not a frequent listener, but sometimes will stop in to see what BS she's spouting at the moment. Today, a guy called and said he'd been dating a woman for 9 months. This woman works with her ex-boyfriend, but since their breakup, they hadn't talked. But now, he said, she's started talking to him again. Dr. Laura cut him off at that point, and asked why he was still going out with her. Her recommendation was that he immediately break up with her, simply for having contact with an ex. No further questions or explanation, that was it. What kind of view must you have of humanity to think that a reasonable speaking relationship can't exist between ex's. DUMB!
