This morning at work I got an email from Diana. She said that Allison learned something new this morning, and I should ask her about it when I picked her up. But she didn't tell me what it was.
On the way home, I was talking to Diana and she reminded me that I was supposed to talk to Allison about this thing. I asked Allison, and she kind of looked at me blankly. Diana said (on speakerphone): "Allison, say 'Lilly'".
Allison got a big smile on her face, and said with perfect L's: "Lilly".
Literally, yesterday, she would have said "Wiwwy". She could NEVER say the L sound. And now, all of a sudden, she can. We spent the rest of the car ride home thinking of new L words, and her beaming with pride when she said each one.
Crazy.
