Man... in a world where the media loves to blame the entertainment industry for crimes, this is just what we need. For the link imparied (not naming any names... :) it's a story where a couple kids were arrested for a rash of car thefts after playing Grand Theft Auto (3, presumeably). Apparently they enjoyed the thrill and skill of being a thief (which I can certainly respect), but apparently weren't grounded enough in reality to realize that there are laws and so forth against this kind of thing. I remember a quote of a video game maker saying the number 1 thing kids can do for the fight against the media is to not kill anyone. Makes sense to me.

I've always liked the idea of pickpockets. I think it would be fun. That doesn't mean that I'd necessarily actually go out and DO it, but it would be a fun skill to learn.
