In the news... Winona is found guilty! I wonder what kind of sentence she'll have to serve. She is now a convicted felon, though, which is sort of funny. I think being a convicted felon limits your opportunities, but I'm not specifically sure how. They were talking on the news about insurance issues, the right to vote might be revoked, etc. She seems like she's got problems.

Voting day was yesterday. I proudly excercised my right to vote, even though I knew next to nothing about who I was voting for. People like me shouldn't be allowed to vote. I hope I didn't vote for some religious, right-wing schoolboard member. I don't think I did.

Work continues to go well, and keeps me busy. Diana called a mortgage guy about home loan stuff today. The Fed dropped rates another half a point, which brings them to the lowest point since like 1959 or something. We're going to get away with a deal, I think. I'll be really interested to see how much we can scrape together for a down payment, and how much we can afford for a monthly payment, and how much we can get a loan for, and given that amount of money, what kind of place we can get.

Movies on my list to see: Spirited Away, Harry Potter, The Two Towers, 8 Mile, new Bond movie, Jackass
