Allison doesn't like to go to sleep at night. We do everything we can to keep her in bed, or at least in her room, but she toddles out every few minutes with some announcement or request. It's infuriatingly adorable.
Last night at around 9:15pm, when I thought she was asleep, I heard her little voice from the hallway.
"Daddy...?"
I get up and go collect her. Sometimes I come down kind of hard on her to discourage getting up and wandering around at bedtime, but she was just so cute standing there in her favorite Cars shirt, hair all messed up. I swept her up in my arms and carried her down the hall.
"Daddy, do you know where we haven't go'd in a long, long time?"
"Where, Allison?"
"Disneyland!"
I put her down in her bed.
"Can we go to Disneyland tomorrow? After my nap?"
"No, Allison... you're going to Dorrie's tomorrow, and Mommy and I are going to work."
"Oh. AFTER Dorries, can we go to Disneyland?"
Cute.
