So... I picked up the cold that Diana had, and have been pretty much shut down for the past few days. I've blown my nose so much it's all raw and cracking. Gross.

Speaking of gross: last night, Diana and I made some dinner (good mac and cheese with broccoli), and were settling down to watch the last Losts we have on DVD. I noticed that my eyes were itchy a little, and I rubbed 'em a bit. All of a sudden, I noticed that my right eye was totally swelling up. Fast. Within a few minutes, my lower eyelid (only) was totally swollen. Like a bullfrog's throat before it croaks. Crazh.

I took a picture. I was going to post it, but it's pretty nasty.

I talked to my pops and took some Benedryl last night, which knocked me out pretty quick. This morning, it was still swollen, but the swelling is slowly spreading down my cheek and decreasing, and I think by tonight it will be all back to normal.

It clearly smacks of a very localized allergic reaction, but I'm totally at a loss as to what caused it. I must have rubbed something into my eye, but I can't think of anything out of the ordinary. Who knows.

Anyhoo, just thought I'd share. I'm feeling better from my cold, which is nice, and am looking forward to the weekend, the Chargers whooping up on the Bills, and the Fightin' Birdmen winning their fantasy game.
