Norm and I were talking about dreams, and it reminded me of my reocurring dreams. I don't have 'em very often, but these are the only types of dreams that I've had multiple instances of the same theme.

1) Typical sports anxiety dream. I'll be playing goalie in soccer, or a football wide receiver or something, and I can't stop a shot or catch a ball or do anything right.

2) Animal-like running. I'll be in a hurry to get somewhere, and I can run super fast. But in spite of knowing that I'm running really fast, everything is in SUPER slow motion. While running, I'm leaning so far forward that I actually use my hands and arms to reach out and pull at the ground, using every single muscle in arms and legs to pull myself forward. A very satisfying feeling.

3) Flying. I sometime have dreams that I have the ability to fly. The only thing is that it takes a certain amount of faith. In order to fly, I have to run and dive headfirst. If I don't absolutely believe I'm going to succeed, I crash to the ground. Even if I do succeed, it's a wobbly, low-to-the-ground, Wright-brothers kind of flight, but still very exciting. My latest flying dream, though, I was riding a toilet-plunger and zooming around all over the place. It was awesome.
