Hello dear readers.

I don't know if I mentioned it last time, but some time ago we played a softball game against an undefeated team that was clearly better than everyone else in the league. I bitched and moaned about how good they were, and how they didn't belong in our league, etc. Well, we just beat 'em in a great game (won by one point by holding them off in the last inning). Good stuff, and teaches me a little lesson.

The weekend was pretty slow and easy. The Chargers whooped up on the Raiders, and therefore the Birdmen whooped up on Mick in Fantasy Football. I don't think I really have any solid rivalries on FF, but Mick might be as close to one as I might have. He loves reminding me how poor a coach I am, so it's nice to win some games.

Speaking of winning games, I played a lot of Yahoo chess this weekend, and won some games and got my rating out of the toilet. I was so pleased with one game, which I won by sacrificing my queen, I had Yahoo email me the output of the game. With a little more research, I found a handy tool that will make a webpage out of your games. So how about a little test? Here's me whooping up on some guy. (I'm black). In reviewing the game, I had a GREAT move on turn 9, but I didn't see it. Anyone see it? (Use arrow keys to scroll through moves)

That's about it for now. I kind of pulled a muscle at the game, so I'm going to hit the ol' jacuzzi.
