So. This weekend, Diana and I headed out and walked around downtown Encinitas. We walked through the little weekend bazaar thing, and windowshopped, had some lunch, and walked down to the beach. A very nice afternoon. That evening, we had some peeps over with the thought of playing poker, but we ended up BBQ'ing and just hanging out, which was fun.
Sunday, I played a little golf with Iwan, which I haven't done in a long time. It was good to spend some quality time with that guy. It's sort of becoming a joke now, to me at least, about how I play better after not having played for months. I shot 9 over, with 2 birdies and a chip-in, so I was pretty happy. It was a beautiful day at good ol' Lake San Marcos Exec, thought, so I could have shot horribly and still had fun.
After golf I picked up a wireless access point so that we can roam around the house with our new lappy-top and be online. Pretty cool. I've had some bad luck with wireless in the past, so I'm looking forward to it working well (ya'hear that, WAP? Work!) Wirelessness is pretty cool, though. It's fun to sit, well, anywhere other than the computer room and be able to get online.
This week brings a doubleheader of hot softball action tonight, hopefully some WoW time tomorrow. Wednesday we're meeting with a landscaper to discuss ideas of fixing up our yard (the one that Eryn pointed out that we complain about a lot but don't actually do anything about :). Hopefully we can come up with some good plan that costs $5. We'll see.
