Oops. A couple more comments of note.
There's no room for chivalry in an elevator. I have no problem with people opening doors for others and letting people go before you. In fact, when swinging a door open it's almost a more natural flow to let the other person go first. But in my ups and downs here at work, I've noticed a couple people basically insist on being the last ones out of the elevator. They'll (all men) move sideways, away from an open door, to let a woman behind them out first. What's really funny is if two of 'em are in the same elevator at the same time, and watching them fight to see who will be last out. It really shouldn't be that hard, people. Doors open, everyone goes in and turns around as the doors close. Doors open, everyone gets out in the reverse order that they entered. If we can just stick to this rule, and make sure that no ones feeling will be hurt, life will be just a little bit smoother.
Tom Cruise has won another settlement to clear his name from being gay. It's one thing to say you're not gay, but it's another thing to sue those who say you are for millions of dollars. Makes him look positively homophobic, if you ask me (which you did).
I emailed and heard back from my old email buddy Kelly today! Glad to hear she's doing well and remembers who I am. :)
Ok, I'm spent.
