So recently, Diana and I noticed that a nearby neighbor painted their house a really bright green color. It's right on the main street leading through our neighborhood, and it really sticks out.
As I drove home from work yesterday, I noticed a local news van parked on the hill next to her house. I got Allie, and we took a walk to investigate. The local "on the spot" reporter was there, and told me that they were doing a news story on the house. "On the color?" I asked. He said yep. I was VERY close to saying "Slow news day, eh?", but decided against it.
Anyways, here is the story. Watch it now.
Here's another story from the San Diego Union Tribune. The user comments are especially funny/troubling/sad. Not a lot of love for La Costa in the rest of San Diego.
I'd be interested to hear others opinion on this. I'll save mine for now...

Living in an area that is governed strickly by an HOA, I can see both sides. I think it is funny if they think the bright color ruins the neighborhood, but smearing poo on her fence raises their property values. :)
I also think it is funny that she thinks it is because she has tattoos.
Either way, if you live in a region that allows free reign on stuff like that, I think you give up the right to be upset about it.
Wow! Who knew going "green" would cause such controversy! I think the woman has more problems than just her physical health. Perhaps she just wants 15 minutes of fame!
I'm glad I don't live next door to her.
