So I've really enjoyed having this time off from work! As I posted earlier, Mike was in town for a week, and Fwats cruised down for a couple days, and it was a ton of fun to see both of them again. We played lots of games (football, Guitar Hero, RoboRally, Puerto Rico, etc, etc...) and held our annual fantasy football draft. All good times. Click the picture above for more pics.

Diana and I have taken some time to fix up our other, non-landscaped side yard. We cleaned up the dirt area and planted some new plants (including veggies!), and I'm excited to see how those grow. And where they removed the brick against the house, we laid down some flagstone and filled in around those with loose river pebbles. It looks pretty good. Maybe not perfect, but not bad, either. Those were fun little projects.

Iwan, as it turns out, is in Vegas for a couple days on a work trip, and has a hotel room with a spare queen bed. Diana and I, not having anything to do for the rest of the week, are going to bomb out there tomorrow morning and see if we can't have ourselves some fun. I'm not sure how long we'll stay (one or two nights), but we'll just kinda play it by ear.

I return to work on Monday. That will be a change. It seems like forever ago!
