So I'm getting over a cold. Nothing too serious, but I took a day off from work this week to rest. I played computer games, and took a bath and read my book. As I was taking my bath, I wondered if taking a bubblebath by myself would make me have to turn in my Man Card. Is a guy taking a bath metrosexual in a hip, in touch with my feminine side kind of way? Or just plain fancy-boy? Either way, it was just what the doctor ordered.

I'm reading Shogun for the second time. Best freakin' book EVAR. I can't believe how fired up I am to be reading it again. It's even better since, after the first time I read it, I bought the TV miniseries on tape and watched it. That was a long time ago, though, but as I'm re-reading, I have a much better visual sense of what's going on, and names and places are more familiar. Highly recommended.

Since today is Friday, Diana is officially on her spring break, which is great. She's taking a brief road trip with a friend of hers to Palm Springs. I'm going to miss her, but I'm glad that she's taking some time off to relax, and nice that she's reconnecting with an friend she hasn't seen often. Coincidentally, I've arranged to borrow a Playstation 2 (thanks Norm!) and a copy of Guitar Hero (thanks Eryn). So I should be all set.

We just watched a movie called "The Station Agent". It's about a dwarf whose best friends dies, and he moves into an old abandoned trainstation place, intent on being a hermit. But he gets to know his neighbors and humor, heartache, and generally touching moments ensue. Good movie, if you're looking for something to watch.

S'about it for now. Smell you all later.
